Fine art portraiture in Baguio City
I'm JP Castillo, the photographer behind Studio Yñigo in Baguio City. I took up photography as my profession in early 2026, and I chose the classical style for a simple reason: I love the way it looks.
What I enjoy most is capturing special moments and showing the classical side of people. In every portrait, I want you to see yourself as if frozen out of time.
My philosophy
Slow light, in the old manner
The tradition of portrait painting is my teacher. I work with shadow as much as with light, and I choose each pose and backdrop to suit the person in front of the camera.
The aim is a picture you will still want to look at in fifty years.
